About This South Indian Sindoor Dibbi
South Indian Sindoor Dabbi in Rajwadi Finish is a sindoor box with a metal alloy base, a Rajwadi finish and artificial stones, weighing 70 gm and available in Ruby Green. Made in India and shipped across India in 2–4 business days.
Which sindoor dibbi has legs? This one does, because the whole piece is shaped as a standing animal with a lidded box carried on its back. The figure faces forward with its head slightly lowered.
A decorated cloth of stones and fine lines covers the back, and the lid sits on top of it. The finish is Rajwadi, with a warm glow that picks out the carving on the face and legs. Ruby Green is the colour listed, and the tag says South Style. Four legs hold it steady, and the body is solid enough that a light touch does not tip it over. Everything about the design points to an object kept in a prominent place.
It weighs 70 gm. A shelf near a lamp, a dressing table or a side table works well, with the head turned towards the room, so that the decorated back is seen from the side. Alloy is the metal, and the stones in it are artificial. If you want other shapes, look through sindoor boxes.
