About This Krishna Sindoor Box
Rajwadi Finish Stone-Studded Sindoor Box with Krishna Design is a sindoor box with a metal alloy base, a Rajwadi finish and artificial stones, weighing 87 gm and available in Ruby Green. Made in India and shipped across India in 2–4 business days.
Seated with a flute raised to his lips, Krishna is the centre of this sindoor box, and behind him a wide fan of peacock feathers fills the whole lid. At the base two birds face each other, and the outline of the lid follows the curve of the fan. Its finish is Rajwadi, and the style tags read South Indian and Royal.
Oval stones sit between the feathers around the edge of the fan, and the two colours in stock, ruby and green, alternate all the way round. A ruby and a green stone also sit near the birds. The feathers are cut in thin, parallel lines, which gives the lid a soft texture next to the smooth figure. The overall shape is wide and low, so it fits easily on a shelf or a dressing table, and the figure stays in view from the front.
The weight is 87 gm. Metal alloy forms the body, and the stones are artificial. A small drop at the base lifts the lid, and the space beneath is for sindoor or kumkum. If you like this style, there are others in sindoor boxes.
