Two figures stand close together on the lid of this South Indian sindoor box, one of them holding a flute, and below them the lid is a dome stamped with a scalloped pattern. The bowl underneath tapers to a stem, which stands on a round plate engraved with a fine, repeating design. The box is 3.7 cm by 6 cm. The listing carries the South Style tag.
The surface is mostly smooth metal, with detail concentrated in the figures and in the plate. The page gives no colour options, so the shape does the talking. The slim stem under the bowl gives it a goblet look, which is a graceful outline for something so small, and the engraving on the plate repeats all the way round.
