About This Sindoor Box
Traditional Stone-Studded Sindoor Box in Rajwadi Finish is a sindoor box with a metal alloy base, a Rajwadi finish and artificial stones, weighing 89 gm and available in Ruby Green. Made in India and shipped across India in 2–4 business days.
A sindoor box is a small lidded container for sindoor, and this one rises into a crest of three birds on top of a round lid. The two outer birds curve inward on their arches, while the third stands upright between them with its tail fanned downward. A hinge sits at the back and a hanging clasp at the front. The finish is Rajwadi, with Antique, North and Designer noted among its styles.
The drum-shaped body is covered in carved blooms, and oval stones are set among them in ruby and green. Round stone-set feet lift the base above the table on four short stands. Feathers on each bird are cut one by one, so the surface keeps catching the light from different angles. Ruby Green is the colour option.
The box weighs 89 gm, which gives it a steady footing on a shelf or a dressing table. Its body is cast in a metal alloy base, with artificial stones set around the sides. Lift the clasp, swing the lid back, and the plain inner bowl is ready for sindoor or kumkum. A full row of stones circles the body. Similar pieces are in sindoor boxes.
