About This Traditional Kumkum Box
Stone-Studded Traditional Kumkum Box is a kumkum box with a metal alloy base, a Rajwadi finish and artificial stones, weighing 50 gm and available in Green and Ruby. Made in India and shipped across India in 2–4 business days.
This traditional kumkum box sits on a square plate engraved with a border and carries a wide, domed lid in a Rajwadi finish. At the centre of the lid a large ruby is set in a crescent frame, ringed by a circle of small stones. Around that, leaf shapes and six-sided studs spread outward, and small beads dangle from the edge like tiny bells.
The listing gives green and ruby as the colours in stock. The ruby sits at the middle, the green stones appear in the ring around it, and the leaf shapes and studs stay plain so the colour is not diluted. The beaded drops move slightly when the box is picked up, which gives it a lively look. The square plate keeps the round box from rolling.
At 50 gm it is easy to carry to a pooja shelf, the use named in the listing. The body is cast in metal alloy and the stones are artificial. The lid lifts away and the bowl takes kumkum or sindoor. For comparison, see more in sindoor boxes.
