About This Peacock Sindoor Box
Stone-Studded Peacock Sindoor Box in Rajwadi Finish is a sindoor box with a metal alloy base, a Rajwadi finish and artificial stones, weighing 53 gm and available in Ruby Green. Made in India and shipped across India in 2–4 business days.
From the side it looks like a plain round tin, but this sindoor box has a peacock crouched on the lid, its head and curled crest bent over the edge. Beside it sits a small flower of ruby and green stones, which stands in for the tail. The lid itself is engraved with a sunburst, and a hook clasp sits on the front. The finish is Rajwadi.
The base of the box is ringed by a row of round discs stamped with a four-petal flower, and between the discs there are tiny dots in a row. The body carries a band of leaf and scroll carving, and the stones are the only colour on the piece, in the ruby and green that are in stock. That keeps the peacock readable.
Weighing 53 gm, it is light enough to move about but sits level on the disc ring. The body is a metal alloy and the stones are artificial. Use it for sindoor or kumkum, on a shelf where the bird faces out. The rest of the range is under sindoor boxes.
