About This Antique Sindoor Box

Stone-Studded Antique Sindoor Box is a sindoor box with a metal alloy base, a Rajwadi finish and artificial stones, weighing 28 gm and available in Ruby Green. Made in India and shipped across India in 2–4 business days.

A tiny tree stands on top of this antique sindoor box, its branches carrying ruby and green stones, and under it a rounded dome is covered in rows of small studs. The dome sits on a square, pierced base with a clasp in the middle of the front. The box measures 3.2 cm by 5.4 cm, and its finish is Rajwadi.

Ruby and green, the colours listed, are set in the tree and again in small circles around its foot, so the stones gather at the top and the dome is left alone. The dome's studs are cast in even rows that catch the light in lines. Underneath, the base is cut with a fine scroll pattern, which is visible from the sides, so the box looks finished from every angle.

Only 28 gm in all, it is a small box that tucks into a corner of a tray or a shelf. A metal alloy body carries the artificial stones. Open the clasp and the lid lifts off to show a small bowl, enough for sindoor. Other small designs are in sindoor boxes.
