Fifty-six grams of Rajwadi metalwork make up this party wear sindoor box, which is a short round drum with a figure playing a flute on top of its lid. A ring of teardrop stones in ruby and green circles the figure, and the rim of the lid is edged with fine beading. The drum is engraved with swirling scrolls, and a triangular clasp sits at the front. It stands 5.2 cm tall and 4.5 cm wide.
A small flower with a ruby centre is set on each side of the drum, and the whole box sits on a thin round plate that works as a saucer. The stones alternate in colour all the way round, so the lid looks like a wheel. The listing gives the occasion as party wear, and its size makes it easy to carry in a small bag.
