About This Bridal Kundan Maang Tikka

Bridal Kundan Maang Tikka with Stone Work is a maang tikka with a metal alloy base and artificial stones, weighing 18 gm and available in Pearl and Ruby. Made in India and shipped across India in 2–4 business days.

Pearl is the first impression of this bridal maang tikka, which hangs a fringe of round drops from a double crescent: an outer ring of small round stones and an inner ring of kundan-style stones, with a flower of stones at the top of the opening. A long chain of small stone units, each with tiny beads at its sides, climbs to the hook.

Pearl and ruby are in stock, and the photograph shows pearl. The long chain is the most useful feature on this piece: it sits along the parting, so the pendant falls low and the forehead stays open. It goes with a silk saree or a heavy lehenga, with hair centre-parted and pinned up, and with earrings in a drop shape. The open middle of the crescent also lets a little of the forehead show.

At 18 gm it is a medium weight, and the double crescent spreads it across the forehead rather than at a single point. Stones and drops are artificial, held in a metal alloy base. For other bridal designs, see maang tikka.
