About This Maang Tikka

Stone-Studded Traditional Tikka is a maang tikka with a metal alloy base and artificial stones, weighing 18 gm and available in Ruby Green. Made in India and shipped across India in 2–4 business days.

Broad in outline yet narrow where it meets the forehead, this maang tikka for women pairs a wide crescent with a scalloped rosette above it. One artificial stone sits at the centre of the rosette, and another, long and narrow, rests in the middle of the crescent. A ribbed chain with a hook runs up to the hairline. Short strands of tiny round drops hang from the lower edge and sway with each turn of the head.

Open hair, a side braid or a smooth bun all give the crescent room to show. It looks well against a cotton kurta, a printed dupatta or a blouse with a deep neckline. The one colour option here is Ruby Green. Engraved lines cross the face of the crescent, and a row of small dots follows its inner curve like a fine border.
