This antique maang tikka sits at the centre of the parting, and its rounded fan-shaped pendant is set with stones in rows. An oval stone at the middle is surrounded by pointed petals and small stones, and a ring of loops below holds round bead drops. The chain above is made of small flower-like units, each carrying a few stones.

Ruby green is the colour listed, which means the stones mix ruby and green with clear ones between them. That makes it easy to match with a saree or lehenga that has more than one shade in the border, as the stones touch several of them. Floral shapes repeat in both the chain and the pendant, so a necklace with a floral or round motif looks consistent with it.
