About This American Diamond Maang Tikka

AD Maang Tikka is a maang tikka with a metal alloy base and artificial stones, weighing 9 gm and available in White. Made in India and shipped across India in 2–4 business days.

Most crescent pendants are solid, but this American Diamond maang tikka draws its curve from fine bars of stones that radiate outward, like the spokes of a fan, between two edges of small stones. A pear-shaped stone sits in a small ring at the top of the crescent and five drops hang along the bottom, under a stem of leaf-shaped stones and two chains.

The only colour in stock is white, the same as the finish. The open curve frames a small patch of forehead, which makes the tikka sit lightly even though the design is detailed. It suits a cotton saree with a plain border, a sharp kurta or a light lehenga, with hair centre-parted. Chandbali earrings echo the crescent without matching it too closely, and a thin necklace keeps the throat quiet. The bars also catch light from several angles at once.

Nine grams is easy to carry for hours, even with a high hairstyle, because the weight sits at the parting and not on the ears. A hook at the top of the chains keeps it in place. The stones are artificial and set on a metal alloy base. See further shapes in maang tikka.
