About This Traditional Ganesha Kumkum Box
Traditional Ganesha Kumkum Box with Stone Work is a kumkum box with a metal alloy base, a Rajwadi finish and artificial stones, weighing 80 gm and available in Ruby Green. Made in India and shipped across India in 2–4 business days.
Heavy for a kumkum box at 80 gm, this one is shaped like a conch shell: a pointed, ridged cap at the top that spirals down into a wide, curved body. On the front, Ganesha is cut in relief with his trunk curling round in a loop, framed by flowing scrolls. A clasp sits at the lower left. Its finish is Rajwadi, and the listing calls the style Traditional.
Small stones are set around the edge of the shell and in the scrolls beside Ganesha, one every few centimetres, and a larger green one marks his forehead. Ruby and green are what the page lists. Because the shape is a conch, an object with its own place in temple worship, the box needs no further decoration. God Figure is one of its tags.
Metal alloy forms the shell and artificial stones decorate it. The shell opens at the ridged cap, and the hollow inside is wide enough for kumkum or sindoor. It is a good one for a shrine shelf, where it can stand on its edge. See other shapes in sindoor boxes.
