About This Lakshmi Kumkum Dabbi

Lakshmi Stone-Studded Kumkum Dabbi is a kumkum box with a metal alloy base and artificial stones, weighing 27 gm and available in Ruby Green. Made in India and shipped across India in 2–4 business days.

Lakshmi sits in a pointed halo on top of this kumkum box, one of the smallest of the temple designs. Her seat rises from a lid made of overlapping lotus petals, with a ruby at the centre and green stones to either side, and below the lid a round pedestal ends in a carved ring. The style is Traditional, and a tag lists the box among the God Figure designs.

Ruby and green are the two stone colours in stock, and they are all in one place, at the centre of the lid, so the rest of the metal is left bare. The petals curve and overlap, like a flower that has just opened. On the ring at the foot, leaf shapes run around the edge, and a short loop clasp sits at the front. The listing also marks it for pooja.

Very light at 27 gm, it travels easily and suits a small shrine shelf. Cast in metal alloy and set with artificial stones, it opens on the clasp to a small well for kumkum. More temple shapes are in sindoor boxes.
