About This Stone-Studded Antique Maang Tikka

Stone-Studded Maang Tikka in Mehendi Finish is a maang tikka with a metal alloy base, a Mehendi finish and artificial stones, weighing 22 gm and available in Pearl. Made in India and shipped across India in 2–4 business days.

Above the round pendant of this antique maang tikka sits a long rectangular panel, two columns of oval stones set in a frame of tiny beads, and a string of beads leads from it to the hook. The pendant below has rings of stones around a triangular centre stone with a coloured rim, and seven drops hang from the lower edge.

The finish is Mehendi, a deep, warm tone, and Pearl is the colour on the page. The panel makes the piece long, so it reaches back along the parting. It goes with a silk saree, a lehenga with a traditional border or a kurta with a dupatta. Earrings of a medium size are enough, and hair tied back keeps the panel in view from the front. The rows of oval stones in the panel repeat the shape of the stones in the pendant, so the whole piece feels planned.
