About This Antique Maang Tikka
Stone-Studded South Indian Tikka is a maang tikka with a metal alloy base and artificial stones, weighing 45 gm and available in Ruby Green. Made in India and shipped across India in 2–4 business days.
Five round flower discs joined by fine chains make up this antique maang tikka, with the largest disc at the centre and a long chain dropping from it to a small domed bell. Each disc carries petal-shaped stones around a pale middle, and a deep rim outlines it. Hooks at the top and on both sides hold the piece in place.
Ruby green is the colour on the page. The listing tags the style as South and delicate, and the stones suit a silk saree or a half saree with a contrasting border. Because the discs are spread across a wide span, the ornament frames the forehead instead of sitting on a single spot, so a centre parting with the hair drawn back lets every disc show. Plain earrings are enough beside it. The stones sit close together, so the pattern reads clearly from a distance.
It is listed at 45 gm and built on metal alloy, with artificial stones. The centre chain lies along the parting while the side chains follow the hairline. More head ornaments are listed under maang tikka.
