You wear this maang tikka for women at the centre of the parting, and the round disc is the whole design: a rim of tiny round beads frames rings of mint green and ruby-coloured pieces, with a small flower of clear stones at the middle, and a plain chain leads to the hook.

Rings of pattern make the disc look fuller than its size suggests, and the minimal and South Indian tags fit a design that stays on one spot instead of spreading across the hair.
