The coins are spaced evenly along the chain, with the largest at the centre and smaller ones stepping up on either side, and small round knobs along the chain separate them. The pair of earrings are coin studs, one coin each, with a tiny crown at the top. The surface is all metal with no setting at all, and the page lists no colour options. The coin design carries the South Indian style.

Each coin has a plain rim and a raised figure in the middle, so the pattern reads clearly from a short distance.
