Peacocks line both sides of this temple necklace set, each carved into the links of the chain and turning toward the centre, where a Lakshmi pendant sits inside a frame of ruby and green stones. Green oval beads and pearl-coloured drops hang from the lower edge of the pendant, and a second row of small drops runs along the carved band above it. The jhumka earrings have a dome with pearl drops.

Ruby green is listed, and nothing else is. The matte finish keeps the carved peacocks looking soft and aged rather than shiny, which suits a silk saree in a deep shade and a lighter one alike. A plain blouse with a round neck gives the band room to sit, and the earrings need no companion on the hair, only a simple bun, and the set looks right with slim bangles.
