About This Ethnic Peacock Sindoor Box

Ethnic Peacock Sindoor Box with Stone Work is a sindoor box with a metal alloy base, a Rajwadi finish and artificial stones, weighing 32 gm and available in Ruby Green. Made in India and shipped across India in 2–4 business days.

A peacock with a curling, feathered crest stands on the lid of this ethnic sindoor box, and below it the lid is pierced in a fine lattice with a flower of stones at its centre. The drum has two small ornaments with ruby stones, one on each side, and a hook clasp at the front. Rajwadi is the finish, Ethnic is the style and the peacock is the motif.

Ruby and green stones, the colours in stock, make up the flower on the lid, with a larger ruby on the peacock's chest. Around the foot, a ring of leaf-shaped discs spreads outward, each one veined like a leaf on a branch, and each lies over the one before. The lattice and the leaf shapes give the box a light, open feel despite its closed shape.

Compact at 32 gm, it suits a shelf, a tray or a dressing table. The body is made of metal alloy and the stones are artificial. Open the clasp and the lid lifts to show a round well for sindoor. More peacock designs are in sindoor boxes.
