A round medallion with a ruby middle and a ring of flower shapes around it sits at the centre of this antique maang tikka, with a ruby drop and two tiny green ones hanging below. Side chains of small flowers spread to the hooks at both ends, and a longer chain runs up to the middle.

Ruby and green are the two colours listed. They come in small touches: the ruby in the middle and the drop, the green in tiny points along the chain. The listing calls it antique and round, and the shape is neat enough for a silk saree, a lehenga or a kurta set in a plain shade. A parting down the centre with the hair drawn back shows the medallion clearly, and the chain keeps it from slipping. The flower ring around the medallion is even all the way round, so the shape looks the same from any angle at the parting. The side chains are fine and light.
