You wear a necklace set for women like this one when you want flowers without a heavy collar. Eight small blossoms, each with a ruby-coloured stone at the centre, sit along a fine chain on both sides of a fan-shaped pendant. The pendant holds two pale stones and a small green one, with a single drop below. Smaller pale stones are placed between the blossoms to join them. The earrings repeat the fan and the drop.
Ruby green is the colour in stock, and it appears in the stones only. The Rajwadi finish does most of the colouring, a warm and warm tone that suits both a plain saree and one with a woven border. The chain stays light at the neck, so a high or round neckline is not needed, and the blossoms show well against bare skin or a plain blouse.
