A necklace set for women in a mehendi finish is a close-fitting necklace, a pair of earrings and a forehead piece cut from one pattern. Here the necklace carries a row of rounded-triangle stones, each framed by a ring of small clear ones, with petal-shaped clusters hanging between them. The earrings are round frames with three small drops each. A floral layout runs through all three pieces.
Styling it takes little effort. Keep the hair parted or pulled back so the forehead piece shows, and let the necklace rest at the base of the neck without any other chain. A saree with a narrow border, or an unfussy suit, lets the centre stones lead. Colour options include pink, rama green, rani, green, ruby and white, so the middle stones can follow your outfit.
