About This Mehendi Finish Antique Maang Tikka
Mehendi Finish Antique Stone-Studded Maang Tikka is a maang tikka with a metal alloy base, a Mehendi finish and artificial stones, weighing 57 gm. Made in India and shipped across India in 2–4 business days.
Fifty-seven grams, spread along two long bands, makes this antique maang tikka sit wide across the hairline. Leaf-shaped links run out on each side, small round drops hang from them, and a crescent pendant with a green stone above it hangs in the centre on a fine chain to the hook.
Green is the single colour listed. A Mehendi finish gives the pieces a darker, warmer tone than a plain polish, and the antique and South Indian tags go with it. The style is minimal in outline, so a plain saree in a strong shade, or a lehenga with a thin border, lets the bands do the talking, and hair parted in the middle lets them rest on the hair on both sides.
Its listed weight is 57 gm. The stones are artificial and metal alloy is the base. The crescent hangs a little below the parting so that it can be seen from the front, and the bands add a frame to the face without covering the hair. Wear it with the hooks pinned high so the line stays straight. More tikkas with leaf bands are found under maang tikka.
