Most oxidised necklaces lean on pendants or fringes, but this oxidised necklace set is made almost entirely of beads. Two strands of round, textured beads curve around the neck, joined at each end by clusters that stack the beads three or four across. A cord ties at the back. The earrings are narrow drops of the same beads, topped with a small stud and finished with a few tiny balls at the bottom.
Oxidised is the colour listed. The dark metal tone keeps the beaded surface looking weathered and quiet, which suits cotton sarees, plain kurtas, denim and tunics with a round or V neck. Because there is no centrepiece, the strands layer easily with a thin chain or none at all. The earrings are long enough to be seen with hair worn down.
