Fine seed-bead strands are the first thing you notice on this kundan necklace set: a bunch of them gathers at the back of the neck and then splits into two tiers. Around them sit large polished stones in narrow rims, graduated from small near the clasp to one big stone at the lowest point, with smaller round beads linking them. The earrings are drops with a heart-shaped stone and a squared stone above.
The colour in stock is white. It keeps the whole set in a single pale tone, which suits a dark saree or a pastel lehenga. The upper tier is short and the lower tier longer, so the set fills a plain neckline without hiding an embroidered one, and the earrings stay light enough to wear without a tikka.
