Most short necklaces keep one pendant at the centre; this necklace set for women spreads five round discs along a fine chain instead. Each disc is open-work, with a ring of small cut-out sections around a hollow centre. The chain between them is thin, with a few small round balls spaced along it. A pair of earrings in the same round form comes with the set.
Ruby Green is the colour option on the page. The discs are small and evenly sized, and the middle one hangs a little lower than the rest. The rajwadi finish gives the metal a worn, antique look, in the North style. Nothing about the design is heavy. Each disc sits flat against the collarbone and moves a little as you walk.
The set weighs 32 gm. Wear it with a plain silk saree, a simple kurta or a blouse with a round neckline, and keep the rest of the jewellery quiet.
