Detail first: a very small, regular texture runs along the edge of this kamar patta, like a row of tiny dots, giving the chain a finer surface than a smooth link. The belt is otherwise plain, with no pendant and no setting. It follows the traditional style named on the page, and the photograph shows it low at the waist over the border of a silk saree.
