This payal for women is all chain. Oval links, each crossed by a small bar, join into a flat strand that lies close to the ankle. A hook closes it, and two tiny round bells hang beside the clasp. The links repeat at an even size from end to end, so the line stays clean and unbroken. There is no pendant and no extra ornament, only the repeating pattern and the small bells.
The design rests on its link pattern. Each oval turns slightly against the next, which lets the chain bend with the ankle and settle flat rather than twist.
