About This Meenakari Tassel Pearl Maang Tikka
Tassel Maang Tikka with Pearls is a maang tikka with a metal alloy base and artificial stones, weighing 19 gm and available in Neon Green, Peach and Grey. Made in India and shipped across India in 2–4 business days.
Down the middle of the forehead is where a pearl maang tikka like this one goes, and it is long: four small flower-shaped links stack up from a half-round fan that carries a lotus-like shape in the middle, clear pieces along the curve, and clusters of pearls hanging in tassels from its lower edge.
Three colours are listed: neon green, peach and grey. The Meenakari style means the flat areas of the links and the fan are filled with colour, so the choice you pick decides the tone of the whole tikka while the pearl tassels stay as they are. The South Indian tag fits a plain saree, a half saree or a lehenga with a narrow border, and hair split in the middle then knotted low shows the stacked links.
Listed at 19 gm, it is light for its length, and the tassels give a little movement whenever you turn. Pearls and clear pieces are all artificial, and the whole ornament rests on a base of metal alloy, so it keeps its shape. Find more of these designs under maang tikka.
