About This Meenakari Kundan Necklace Set

Round discs, joined edge to edge by small rectangular stones, make up this Meenakari kundan necklace set. Each disc has a pale centre stone ringed by ruby and green colour work, and the earrings repeat one disc on a stud. Because the discs are evenly spaced, the set follows the collarbone in an even arc and sits close to the base of the neck, with no pendant to shift sideways.
You can wear it with almost any outfit that has a plain neckline. A saree in a soft, light shade lets the ruby and green stand out; a darker one makes the pale stones the main contrast. Ruby green is the colour in stock, and it appears only inside the discs, so the set reads as quiet and traditional rather than loud, and the earrings need no tikka beside them. Hair worn up shows the earrings well.
