Most artificial earrings for women are made for the lobe; this one is made for the rim of the ear. An elephant, with a stone-set body and a flower at its head, lies along the upper curve, and short chains hold small round beads below it. A fine hook passes over the edge of the ear to keep it in place. The style is traditional.
