Seven grams give this antique nose ring for women a presence that smaller naths lack: a textured, filigree-like disc with a stone at its middle, two flowers set at the ends of the curve and a row of small stones following the lower edge. The surface of the disc is worked with fine lines and tiny round openings, so it looks richly detailed in a small space.

Ruby is the only colour in stock. It appears at the centre of the disc, in each flower and along the edge, which gives the piece one clear tone from end to end. That suits a plain silk saree, a blouse in a deep colour or a kurta with a woven border. With a nath of this size, you can skip a necklace or keep it very short, and earrings can stay small.
