About This Pearl Kundan Maang Tikka
Pearl Kundan Maang Tikka with Stone Work is a maang tikka with a metal alloy base and artificial stones, weighing 21 gm and available in Pearl. Made in India and shipped across India in 2–4 business days.
Pearl is the colour on the page, and it sets the tone for this kundan maang tikka, which is made in two parts: a round disc of kundan-style stones with a rim of tiny pearls, and below it a crescent bowl filled with stones in the same style and edged in pearls. A string of pearl beads leads up to the hook, and the two parts are linked so that the crescent can move slightly.
With two shapes stacked, the piece reaches further down the forehead than a single disc, and the pearl edging softens the outline. It suits a silk saree, a lehenga with a narrow border, or a kurta with a dupatta, with hair centre-parted and tied back. Earrings in a round shape, or small studs, keep the balance, and a plain neckline suits the rounded outline of the disc.
Twenty-one grams is a fair weight, so seat the hook with care and let the pearl string lie flat along the hair. Built on a metal alloy base, it carries artificial stones and pearls. For other pendants, see maang tikka.
