A peacock curls around the lobe in these studs, which are oxidised earrings for women with a compact shape. Its head has a small stone for an eye, its crest is a row of tiny dots, and its body and tail are engraved with fine lines in the shape of feathers. It is a small piece with a lot of line work. Both studs are mirror pairs, so the peacocks face each other across the face.

Oxidised is the colour listed. The darker engraving makes the feather lines stand out against the raised areas, so the peacock reads well even from a distance.
