Six-sided medallions in a row make up these kundan hair accessories, a party wear matha patti of 42 gm listed with the sheeshphool group. Each medallion has a clear stone in a ring of smaller ones, with a few tiny beads hanging below it, and the points of the shapes touch their neighbours. A hook ends the line on one side. Its outline is more angular than most.

White is the only colour listed. Six-sided shapes meet at their corners, so the row looks a little like a honeycomb, quite different from the rounder discs on similar pieces, and the shape stays flat on the hair. The shape suits a smooth hairstyle with a centre parting and a saree in a deep, plain colour, and the small bead drops catch the light at the forehead.
