Among finger rings for women, this one is rich in carving: a five-sided top holds a lotus cut with wavy lines, a frame of small flowers surrounds it, and birds sit above. A short fringe of beads hangs beneath.

That finish darkens the carving, which gives the lotus and the flowers a sharp outline even at a glance.
