At the base of the neck, a choker necklace set sits snug, and this one does it with three strands of pearls and a single rosette at the centre. The rosette has ruby-coloured artificial stones in a ring around a green stone, set into a rounded frame. Two stud earrings carry the same rosette, so the pair is already coordinated.
The finish is matte and the style is Kemp, so the metal stays warm and low in shine. Ruby and green are the colours listed. The three pearl strands do the main work, curving along the collarbone, while the rosette gives one point of colour at the throat. It suits a plain silk or cotton saree, a blouse with a scooped back or a simple kurta, and no second necklace is needed.
