The large round pendant at the base is what you see first in this long kundan necklace set, a disc of stones with a scalloped border and a half-circle row of teardrop stones beneath it, finished with a short fringe. Above it, three strands of beads run up to the neck, with square stone frames and small flowers along the length.
The strands change as they rise, from short bead sections to longer ones, held together by narrow bars. Rajwadi is the finish, and ruby green is listed as the option. The earrings are a pointed stone top and a cluster of small round drops, so the necklace and earrings share the same shapes in smaller size.
At 32 cm and 244 gm this is the heaviest piece in its group, and it suits an occasion rather than every day: a lehenga or a silk saree with a plain blouse and the hair pinned back.
