About This Stone-Studded Kamarpatta Hip Belt
Antique Stone-Studded Kamarpatta is a kamarpatta hip belt with a metal alloy base and artificial stones, weighing 49 gm and available in Ruby Green and Transparent Yellow. Made in India and shipped across India in 2–4 business days.
Clusters of three small circles hang from the chain of this kamar patta, each cluster joined at the top and spreading below like a tiny trefoil, with a stone set in some of the circles. The clusters are spaced evenly, with a curb chain on each side that sets the length. The page lists it as stone-studded and antique, and the photograph shows it laid flat.
Ruby green and transparent yellow are the colours in stock. Seen in ruby green, the stones are few and small, so the colour comes as a light scattering along the front, while the clusters give the shape. The circles make the fringe look rounder and softer than the pointed or lobed styles, with no sharp edge to catch on a fine silk, and the whole belt is easy to wear with a saree in a plain colour, where the stones add the only accent, and keep the earrings small.
