Two peacock forms sit one above the other, a ruby-coloured stone at the head and a rounded body of small stones below, and a large drop stone with a green rim hangs beneath them. Small pearl-coloured clusters sit at intervals along the chain, so the line has some rhythm. The earrings carry the same peacock and drop shape.

Ruby green is the colour in stock. The two shades are placed in the pendant and the drop only, which keeps the chain light and lets those parts lead. A green saree with a woven border works well, and so does a pale one that gives the colour room to show against the skin, with a plain blouse to keep the focus on the pendant.
