Small flowers run all the way round this antique kamar patta, a fine chain with a fringe of tiny flower-shaped drops hanging from its lower edge, and every few flowers a small stone is set into the middle, ruby coloured on some and green on others. The photograph shows it laid flat, with a longer curb chain at each end that sets the length. The page lists it as stone-studded.
The listed colour is ruby green, and it appears only in the small stones, so the belt looks mostly warm and metallic with a few spots of colour along the front. That keeps it versatile: it goes with a saree in a plain colour or a lehenga with detail, and it suits a blouse of any shade.
