About These Kundan Bangles

The look of these kundan bangles comes from a row of round medallions, each with a clear kundan-style stone at its centre and a soft pink surround. They come as a set of 2 and are worn together or apart, and the match between them is exact.

Fine strands of small beads run down both edges of each band and a narrow rope-like border sits outside them, so the medallions are framed twice. The stones are all the same size, which gives a calm, orderly rhythm. Pink is the shade shown in the photo. The medallions are slightly raised, and the inside of the band is lined with more round stones, so the bangle looks finished from every side, even when it turns on the wrist.

Because the colour is soft, they go with pastel sarees, a muted lehenga or a plain kurta in a muted tone. Wear both on one hand for a wide stripe of pink, or one on each wrist when the outfit already has plenty of detail. The set weighs 57 gm.
