Round medallions of closely set stones, in rings, make the pendant of this South Indian maang tikka with earrings, and a row of pearl drops hangs from the lower edge of each one. Above the tikka medallion, a tall panel of stones and tiny pearls in a zigzag leads to the hook. The earrings have a square stone stud set on its point above each medallion.

Pearl is the colour on the page. Pearls and pale stones together make a calm set, and the party wear tag points to evening functions.
