The top of these jhumka earrings for women is a patterned rhombus stud with four small stones. Below it hangs a half-ring that holds a large round stone with a square stone on each side, and fine chains with tiny bells fall from the half-ring into a small, ribbed jhumka dome.
Multicolour is listed. The big round stone is the main colour, and the small square stones and the top stud add the rest, set against the dark oxidised finish that outlines the half-ring. At 8.5 cm long and 1.5 cm wide the earring stays slim, so it goes with a cotton saree, a long kurta or a salwar suit. Tied hair shows it well. The stones sit flat against the frame, so nothing snags on a dupatta or a scarf as you move through the day.
