About These Stone-Studded Bangles

A bangles set for women is simplest to define by what you see first, and here it is a latticed band with one oval ruby-toned medallion in the middle. The set has 2 bangles, built the same way.

On each side of the medallion the lattice is made of small square stones set at an angle, so they form rows of slanted squares with metal in between. A thin green outline circles the centre stone. Ruby Green is the colour listed, and it shows in the oval centre and the line around it. The inside of the band is cut open in a pattern, so light passes through, and the bangle feels airier than a solid one.

Wear one on each wrist or both on one, as the photo suggests, and add nothing else on the forearm, since the lattice already fills the eye. The lattice goes with a silk saree, a plain suit or a cotton kurta. Together the set weighs 50 gm, which is moderate and comfortable for daily wear as well as for occasions.
