About These Bangles

Antique bangles such as these are built from openwork, not solid metal. Six bands share a criss-cross lattice, and the wider middle band of each trio adds a tiered fan-shaped motif above and below a round green stone. Smaller stones sit on either side of it, and every stone is artificial. The look is bold yet light, because the lattice is mostly air. Each band has a finished, slightly raised edge that frames the pattern.

Fan-shaped motifs repeat above and below the green stone, and that repetition gives the wide band its character. The slim outer bands frame it closely, so each wrist shows a balanced trio. Short and simple lines on the side bands let the centre do the talking. Ruby Green is the colour option for this design, and it is the only one in stock.

Three bands go on each wrist, so the whole group reads as a matched pair of trios. Together they come to 84 gm, on a metal alloy base.
