An oval dial in a ring of small stones is the detail you see first on this ladies bracelet watch. Below and above it sit square carved panels, each with a ruby-coloured stone at the centre, and from each panel falls a bundle of fine beaded strands with a few coloured beads among them. A hook and a short chain complete the closure.
The listing offers ruby in stock, and it places the piece in the South Indian, Beaded and Royal styles. Because the strap is made of strands instead of links, the watch moves with the wrist and has a lighter look than the metal-band designs. An oval dial also reads differently from a round one, narrower along the wrist, which suits a slim arm or a short sleeve and works well beside a plain silk saree or a kurta in a pale shade.
