Most long necklaces rely on one length of chain, but this pearl necklace set is built from several strands of small pearl beads, with narrow bands of green and ruby-toned beads running through them. The strands fall from a flat clasp plate on each side and hold a column of oval, ring-edged discs, each with a small centre stone. The column ends in three leaf-shaped drops with a green centre and small bell-like beads hanging below. A pair of fan-shaped earrings is shown with the set.

Ruby green is the colour listed. Green appears in the bead bands and the large drops, and the ruby shade shows up in the small centre stones. The Rajwadi finish keeps the metal antique in tone, so the pearl strands stand apart. Wear it over a silk or cotton saree in a plain colour, or over a kurta with a deep neckline.
