Black beads make the fringe of this antique maang tikka with earrings, hanging in a close row from a curved band of stones with a flower in the middle. The tikka sits below a tall panel of stones set in a zigzag, and the earrings carry the same curved band, with a small flower stud above.

Black is the one colour listed, and against the stones it gives a strong, clean contrast. It works with a saree or lehenga in a light or bright colour, and with a plain blouse.
